regensburg

after spending a day or two in munich, we went out to regensburg to stay with nik's uncle. it's one of the few towns in germany that was left largely intact after the war. the buildings have the charm of walls at a slant, and signs around town of how high the water rose and when {because the river floods the town every so often}.
