i have one last week before orientation, classes, and real life begin again. it's been nice to have a break between work and school, and i'm sad to see that it's ending.
so what am i doing with this free time? studying. i know it's the right thing to do, but sometimes don't you want to throw caution to the wind? it reminds me of this time in college... my friend and i were driving back from some school break we spent in the south. on the way to michigan we saw a sign, "next exit - memphis." it makes me laugh to think about how seriously we considered the exit's offer.
it's hard to give up the freedom of time off.
