alright. here's the first post of a few. paris. it was so wonderful!
we left germany sometime on Christmas morning - i want to say it was late morning. but with jet lag, etc., it really made no difference. we were so tired, still, and were really looking forward to doing nothing but walk the streets of paris, enjoy espressos in the morning and wine at night, and eat all the food we could.
we traveled by train, and it was such a great experience. only three hours, and i got a real sense of the countryside we were traveling through. we even went through brussels.
here are some pictures of our arrival in paris - from the train ride over, gare du nord station, and our flat overlooking the city. ahhhh. i want to go back.
