hi.

it feels good to be here. on the blog, i mean.

thanksgiving is behind us, as well as halloween. and several monthly milestones for oliver.

i've captured some of that in photos, but not everything.

is it crazy to feel like when i'm taking pictures and publishing them here, that it's a signal for i've got everything under control? and i don't. but it's like working on this is worth 3 check marks on the day's task list.

i started working since we've seen each other last, and that's changed some things. most notably, my time. and not just the time away from the house, and from nik and oliver, but it has thrown off our rhythm. so, when i am home, i want to be home. 

after all, the best of life is laying on the floor playing with your 10 month old.
