nye | 2012

we had the most wonderful new year's eve. 

we started the evening late - we had spent most of the day relaxing. so, with our dinner reservations at 9, we enjoyed an evening with locals. away from the hubub. 

after dinner, we ran to catch the subway and make it to the eiffel tower for the midnight celebration. we, along with everyone else it the city, was hustling to get to the fireworks. it felt right out of a movie - people yelling for the subway to go faster, then charging up the subway stairs, bursting out into the air and looking up for the fireworks, and then sprinting to catch a better look.

i'm not sure we'll ever top that nye. but i'd like to try.

this is the end of the parisian highlights. i loved it there. we want to go back.
