but... i didn't want any of you to think i had forgotten about one of my favorite holidays of the year!
to be completely honest, in the midst of wrapping up my work at the office, packing, and moving, it's been hard to keep track of things like holidays.
but now i'm really sad that we missed it.
however, i think things worked out, because as we were leaving our little town on the mountain, the fourth of july parade was just about to begin. so, we were waved off by a crowd of little ones waving their flags and saving their seats along the side of the road.
i don't have any pictures, but trust me - fourth of july at the lake is spectacular.
