1. there are a bajillion cactus stickers and once they've found you, they'll never let you go.
2. the three of us were not prepared for humidity. we are now significantly concerned about austin's summer season.
3. swamp coolers don't work when humidity is involved.
4. movie theaters are very good options when humidity has infringed on the normal functioning of your home's swamp cooler.
5. bugs and other creepy crawlies are MUCH larger around here [seen below]. they're the closest things to extraterrestrial life we've ever seen. nik almost had a heart attack just getting close enough to take this picture.
