let the wild rumpus begin!

earlier this week i stumbled upon an incredible project that makes art accessible to everyone.
it also supports emerging artists.

the founder of the project came up with the concept to have artists produce 200 prints of their work, priced at 20 bucks each - hence the project name, 20x200. and once the prints are gone, they're gone.

here's where it gets really cool [for us, anyway]. i found this:


the figure in the white [hanging off the side of the boat] is Max
from Spike Jones' film Where the Wild Things Are.

The father of this boy is a photographer, and documented his son's first experience in the film industry. You've got to read the father's description of this shot here.

we had to have it - one of nik's favorite books as a child was Where the Wild Things Are.
