when the cat's away

on saturday morning, i went into the kitchen and while i was in there, the other members of my family decided it was time to play on the dog's bed. 

the dirty, stinky, hairy dog's bed.

i thought oliver was getting a diaper change... boy was i in for a surprise. but the whole scene was so adorable. maude looked pensive, oliver was surprised, and nik avoided eye contact. ha! what a trio.

besides, i have a little boy. and i'd better adjust now because he'll have lots of dirty, stinky, and - later on - hairy adventures to come.
